GitHub Marketplace

GitHub Marketplace connects you with developers who want to use your app to extend and improve on the functionality of GitHub. You can list free and paid GitHub Apps and OAuth Apps in GitHub Marketplace.

Users who install an app from GitHub Marketplace pay with their existing GitHub payment method.

Before listing an app on GitHub Marketplace, you'll need to create and register a GitHub App or an OAuth App.

Once you submit a listing for your app, your listing will go through a review process with GitHub. While the listing is under review, GitHub will reach out with more information about the onboarding process and provide additional information on integrating with the Marketplace API for payment.

Note: As part of the Marketplace Developer Agreement, GitHub receives a 25% revenue share from GitHub Marketplace listings.
